First of all thanks thanks thanks. We had a much more relaxed holiday knowing our precious puppy was well looked after. We know this for sure because Nevada slept in the van on the way home, dropped to the floor when we got home and finally looked for some hugging well into the evening....the verdict: A TIRED DOG IS A HAPPY DOG!!!. We did miss her, but knowing that you are totally aligned with her raw food diet, allergy concerns and contact with our Vets- Julie-Anne Lee and Dr Hughson - we felt totally happy that we left Nevada there for her own holiday. The pictures say it all. Thank you so much for caring as you do...you are definitely all class! ( Nevada told me to make sure I say this to you).  Nevada's "itching " to see you allagain...count on it!

All the best,
Eric Giesbrecht, Vancouver BC

“Thank-you so much for the pictures and all the goodies.  You certainly do things up right.  I was raving about Happy Tails to a friend and she said she thought I would be going there on holiday next time!  I really do feel strongly about your services.  I have never encountered a boarding service that understood the needs of dog owners as much as the dogs.   I'm sure the girls would survive sleeping outside etc., its ME that wouldn't be able to deal with it!  So its so nice to be able to go on holiday without worrying about the dogs.  Thanks again for being a second home for Sabre and Emi.”

Hi!  The photos are great!  Thank you!  And thank you for the cookies and frizbee!  Abby very much enjoyed the cookies and is still enjoying the frizbee.  She was so tired when she got back that those were the only things she showed any interest in - she pretty much slept for 2 days!   It's great to see pictures of her having so much fun.  We figured that she had a great time - I know that we did -  knowing that she was in great hands made it easy to enjoy the wedding that we went to.
I'm sure we'll see you again this summer - take care and thank you again for taking such good care of her!

Without doubt, Willi and Sophie had the BEST time at Happy Tails. Thank you so much for looking after them so well and for keeping them so happy. Thank you too for the lovely pictures. I wonder if you guys ever get to sit down or sleep in your own house? I also thank you for their presents - they love the cookies and will enjoy chewing their toys- it will also keep them from chewing one another! If you can entertain the thought we shall be in touch for next May, when we have to go to Europe.
Once again, thanks for everything - Happy Tails is marvelous.

All good wishes, Iain and Liz

Finally got a few minutes to e-mail you and say thanks for taking such good care of Skipper.  He looked so happy and healthy when he came home, although after the initial excitement he was, as usual, a little depressed for a couple of days, until he got over missing all his buddies at Happy Tails.  Thanks also for treating his ears… hope that it didn't cause any problems for you. I should let you know that he has already "disemboweled" the red & green squeaky ball that you sent home with him!!  For the first few days, it never left his sight (or his mouth), and became coated in slobber. You can imagine the response he got when he tried to "give" it to any visitors that came to our house.  Every once in a while he would bite down enough to make it squeak, which always seemed to surprise him and he would go cross-eyed trying to look at it and figure out where the noise came from.  Finally, he made it his life mission to find and remove the squeaker, though unfortunately most of the stuffing came with it!!  You could say he literally loved it to pieces! Anyway, thanks again from us and the Big Mutt, and we'll see you again next year.........

Cheers!
Cathy

Dearest Chari, Dave, Maggie, Pickles, and Chewy,
You have been so wonderful in looking after Edgar, from the ferry meetings to the reassuring phone calls to the new dolly (which is, I might add, a big hit). Thank you again. You are both extremely kind souls.

All the best, Michelle

Don't exactly know how you did it, but Emma is so much more confident now that she stayed with you and the other gang for a week. Stairs are no
problem even after a couple of weeks back at home. Hopefully she will keep climbing up and down without help. Maybe the dogs she was with gave her the boost she needed.  If she relapses, we might have to send her back to you for a refresher!  Thanks again. She is in excellent condition, even was a wee bit tired out, if that is possible for a 2 year old lab. It's good to know that we have a place to leave her that she feels so good about. She's sleeping with her fuzzy bone right now and oh those muffins...I wanted to eat them myself...what a lovely treat.  Every chance I get we'll spread the word.

Hi guys! Any chance you're moving to Salt Lake in the near future! I'm starting to look for possible places for Shadow should I need to go out of town and it's terrible! you've spoiled me. I can't find anyplace that even comes close to what you offered and I'm terribly sad about it! But, things are good here. We found a new home and moved in last week. Very happy to be here in Salt Lake! But just wanted to say hello and how much we both miss you! And thanks for setting the bar so high!

Take care
Andrea and Shadow

I wanted to thank you for taking such good care of Fira and Annie while we were away at the end of July. When I picked them up at Waggin’ Tails, they both looked wonderful, healthy and happy – as though they’d been on vacation. Annie was ecstatic to see me and Fira, well, Fira had to be dragged in from the outside pen and then when she saw me she gave a quick nod hello and was off looking for someone or something to play with. I think she has doggie ADD ;) I’m sure you’ve been told this a thousand times before; it was wonderful for Greg and me to leave home knowing that the girls were very well taken care of in their home away from home. Though I know you’ve always got a houseful, I hope that Fira and Annie shared a little of their quirky, fun personalities with you and that you had as much fun with them as they seemed to have had with you. Thank you also for the lovely treat bag for the girls – they’re wild about the biscotti and the tug toy but I haven’t brought myself to give them the little stuffed toy, as I know its life will be short.
Thank you again for everything and please know that we’ll be in touch next time we travel somewhere that forces us to leave the girls behind.

Cheers!

I just thought I'd write and tell you that Dobbs clearly had a fabulous time at your place. He slept all the way home and pretty much all the way through till bedtime. Then he slept some more!  It was very clear that he'd quickly grown to like and trust you (and for good reason). Thanks so much for giving us total peace of mind that he'll be well-loved and cared for when we take our next vacation.

All the best,Tammy

We just wanted to thank you for Harper's fine care while we were away.  He normally "punishes" us when we return from a trip.  But when he came homthis time he was very happy and tired - a sign that he's had a good time.  He loves his new tennis ball from his "loot bag" (and needless to say, the cookies didn't last long...)  It's so important for us to know that he's well-cared for and happy while we're away.  Many thanks.

We really appreciate what you guys did for Mickey. He was obviously loved, nurtured, and "bathed" in kindness The goody bag was incredibly sweet (although Glenn looked a bit jealous about the home-made muffins). I have to say, it was the first time our dog didn't look overly enthused to see us ~ he just kind of looked at us for a moment, stared back at Chari, and woefully jumped into the car .... I'll have to bring him back for a monthly daycare experience.

Thank-you, he had a great time at Happy Tails !! xo

“Thank you for giving Mirna her own vacation this weekend.  After telling us all about the good time she had at your house, she crashed in the car, happily exhausted.  I am inspired to make another trip - maybe a camping trip next time - just so Mirna can visit you again.  Thanks again for your kindness to all of us, and especially your loving and treats to Mirna”.

This is a belated thank you for sending the photos of Louis at the Ranch - they're great - especially the one of them napping.  Louis obviously had a great time with you because there was no separation anxiety after we picked him up - he just settled right back into life with us again with no fears about us leaving him.  So once again a huge thank you from all of us and a big slobbery smoocher from himself!
Hope you're enjoying a lovely fall on the coast

Best wishes
Gillian

Hi Chari and Dave,
Just a quick note to say thank you for taking such great care of Nelson on the weekend. He was a very happy boy when we picked him up on Tuesday, completely tuckered out… and for him that takes a lot!  It was very comforting to know that he was in good hands…
Thanks again for everything & his yummy goodies!

Just want to thank you very much for providing your usual top-notch T.L.C. to Jasper.  We returned home to find our beautiful dog looking well-rested and happy.  The heart-shaped cushion & bag of dog muffins were very nice treats - thank you.  I love telling my friends about Happy Tails Ranch - they can't believe the kind of treatment dogs like Jasper receive!

Hi Chari and Dave,

Thanks so much for looking after Irish for us. Your toy is a favourite!   We know this because we found her in the back yard trying to bury it!    Only the really special ones get that honour!    It has been rescued and is being played with as I send this. We hope she was good!

Thank you.

Hi Chari & Dave,
Thank you so much for having Mags on the weekend.  It was a relief to know she wasn't in a kennel and to see how normal she was when we picked her up.  It was life as usual right away, no week to recover. Also, she loves the doggy muffins and her new 'bone'. We will visit again soon.

Regards,
Peggy & Dennis Lozinsky

We just wanted to thank you so much for taking great care of our Kaia. She came home exhausted from all of time playing with her new friends! Also thank you for the goodies and toy for Kaia. We won't be going anywhere without her for awhile but we will be sure to call you when we do.

Thanks Again,
Lonnie and Graham and family

You guys are the greatest. The gift basket was a wonderful surprise. We’ll have to drink the wine though, the dogs just don’t seem to like it! They came out of grooming looking wonderful and so happy to see me. They are of course pleasantly exhausted and have hardly moved off the couch. Weston will be home tonight and I will be showing him the basket of goodies – and we’ll crack open the wine and toast you!  Thank you again for everything. I don’t know how we’ll find a place even half as great as ‘the ranch’ down south.
You’ve set the bar very high!

Cheers,
Danny & Weston

Hi Chari and Dave
I just wanted to thank you for having Brea for the last 2 weeks. I picked  her up and she looked great! It was a great consolation while we were away to know that she was not locked in a tiny concrete space but roaming free in a home. Thanks again and I will recommend your doggy spa to others,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for looking after Akisha so well! Once again it is obvious that she was very well cared for while we were away. Akisha was very happy to see me, but also seemed a little reluctant to say goodbye to Dave and her dog buddies in the car - and now she is sleeping the contented sleep of a tired but happy dog (after giving me a long, serious lick). It is so nice to be able to go away and not worry about her being lonely or neglected in any way.
Thanks again, and thanks for the doggy toy and baked goods. I remember how much Kisha liked them last time. You do spoil the dogs!

Dear Chari & Dave,
Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of our baby.  I’m glad you enjoyed his company too.  And thank you so much for the little stuffy and cookies.  He’s already been chasing the former down the hall and had one of the cookies this afternoon (they smelled so good I even had a bite). You’re high on our list for a return visit if need be and we’ll definitely pass along the name of your service to friends.

Best,
Leslie, Tom & Aja

Hi Chari and Dave;
We’re all enjoying being back together again. I wonder if Phoenix is a little bored after all the action at camp? She is very attached to the new toy she brought home and carries it all around the house. She’s very careful not to damage it which is unusual because she usually chews up soft toys. It’s definitely special to her. Thanks again for all you did to make our holiday easy and carefree. We appreciate the good energy that surrounds Happy Tails.

Until we meet again!

Dear Chari and Dave

Mikki arrived safe and sound.  We arrived in about 8pm tonight so he was mighty happy to see Frank.  Me a little, Frank a lot!  The loot bag was wonderful.  As soon as I saw it on the counter, Mikki was so excited to get his new toy - the duckie umbrella.  He hasn't stopped playing with it and making sure Frank plays along with him.  Mikki knows that it's his "new toy" so when I ask him to bring his "new toy" upstairs, he runs downstairs, grabs his toy and comes up. Frank was impressed by the baking and actually thought they were for us when I told him it was doggie treats.  He said the doggie treats smell great.  Mikki had a cookie already tonight.  Gobbled it up, so whatever you're putting in the cookies, is a hit.
Thank you so much for welcoming Mikki into your home.  Will book another holiday for him again and glad to hear you'd have him back.

Hello Chari and Dave
Its my turn to apologize for not saying thank you so much for taking care of Rusty sooner.  He came home and was quite sad to have to leave the ranch, he moped around the house for 2 days.  I know he had a wonderful time and he misses all of you.  Thank you for his treat, that was very kind of you.  I hope in the future he will be welcome to come back to see all of you.
Thank you so much again for taking care of Rusty, it means the world to us to know he was treated like part of the family at the ranch.

Hi guys,
I write this as I sit watching Olive play with her stuffie (the one she got when she stayed with you this spring!). I am so sorry that I have not thanked you sooner. She came home completely at peace and without anxiety or having been left! Thank you so much for that. She would love to come back in the future!  Just wanted to send out my thanks again for making our holiday and hers such a success.

Dear Chari and Dave,
I want to express my gratitude to both of you for the wonderful care that you have taken of Akisha over the years. I have never worried about her when I knew she was with you. I know how many dogs you know and care for. It also makes me feel good knowing that Kisha can connect so well with others, and be loved. It makes me feel less guilty, and optimistic that she will be loved and well looked after in her new home.  When Aaron and I first talked about the idea of finding a new home for her, one of my first ideas was to ask you to assist in finding a new home, as I figured any recommendation that came from you could be well trusted. And if things don't work out with her new family, I would be thrilled to think that she might live with you.
I wish you both all the best. Thanks again for your caring, over the years. the service you provide is priceless.

Susan
